Hato & Lagun Hill
Two distinct neighbourhoods north of the centre: coastal Hato and the higher, more inland Lagun Hill.
History
Statistics Netherlands places Hato in the Noord Saliña district and Lagun Hill in Entrejol (Antriol). Their joint presentation on this site is practical and geographic rather than an official boundary. Both grew with Kralendijk’s northern expansion.
Character and living
Hato combines a coastal setting and apartments with quick access to town. Parts of Lagun Hill offer elevation and views, but a car is generally more useful. Road condition, slope and drainage can vary by street.
