History

In the current statistical classification, Belnem and Lima form part of the Tera Cora district. Punt Vierkant is mainly a locally used name for the south-western coastal area. Most residential development is part of Kralendijk’s southward expansion; no separate, well-documented founding history is available for the three areas.

Character and living

The coast, airport and southern salt landscape are nearby. Housing ranges from homes and apartments to resorts and holiday accommodation. Buyers should verify zoning, airport-related noise and the rules for short-term rental.
