History

Historical publications by Statistics Netherlands use the name Entrejol and describe an inland settlement dating from the seventeenth century. The name is linked to the Spanish ‘al interior’, which evolved locally into Entrejol and Antriol. Today the district includes Antriol/Entrejol Pabou and Pariba, Amboina, Lagun Hill and Mexico.

Character and living

Antriol is primarily a permanent residential area with schools, neighbourhood services, churches and local places to eat. Its location is central, but street character varies, so viewing a home outside office hours is worthwhile.
